Is It Worth To Mention

It is hard to mention

All my grand ambitions

It would take poet like Maya Angelo just to make it sound right enough to relate or even mention

All I would need then is an affirmation (or great commission)

If I had no more intimidation from self-hating, supremacist, racist factions

I would then be on my way to true realization

Of all black man's dream and ambitions

On the face of the planet and among the great nations

I speak of things that might come but will never be fully realized in my life-time

Of positive things and stories from which we can learn and grow

Our everyday understanding

To some day change the world headed in the wrong direction

Did I mention it would required a huge feat of human compassion (and contribution)

An impact that would stand the test of time and evil corruption

It is more like Nefertiti’s grand plan of compassion for the masses

That many in power couldn't stop but started to question

How will this change our great state of status quo and easy consumption

This world today is no different in respect to every question

It is a matter of time we start to standing up for our rights and not become as we are now

Masses of 2nd class in a 1st class nation

We must help ourselves up the ladder of confusion and thus

Save our people from a massive loss

Of human spirit of love and compassion

For each other and our nation

It is a wild dream I suppose ahead of its time

But that is why it is worth every energy, word, though, and action

Because we live in a world of great suffering not from Nature

But man made or lack of action or any caring for those in need of our basic liberties

That only requires a little understanding

Our leaders say it is of little importance in their every action

As if our enemies aren't from within our very inner circle

I heard it said once in a movie with little action

"If I die let it be because I did it with all my heart's compassion"

It seems everyone in the world cares enough to scream

WE CARE

But those in power would love for us to dream they were there screaming

With any mention their evil deeds we pay in the homage of an evil scheme

This scheme I speak of is a life lived on a pay-check to pay-check never having freedom enough

To leave even when impending destruction comes by knocking

Even such terrible things to imagine as Katrina comes by screaming and howling

To within city limits filling up all the sewers and streams

Until it seems it is to late to even SCREAM

But there is a GOD always watching and saving even against odds

That would have us start believing we are still loved under all this madness of endless suffering and non-sense

It is matter of time until we start to question and then truly come to the understanding

That yes we are our brother's/sister's last keepers from total annihilation...
